    These July 1
is my mama’s birthday and she will be turning 44. A year older but definitely a
year wiser and she looks way gorgeous now than last year.

    This post is
about my gift to her. I will not talk about anything about her as of now. Maybe
later.

     Well, I was
thinking of diving her a cake <again, I have her 1 last year and the other
year>. So I was thinking of something different. Something that she will see
always. I know that it’s the thought that counts but I really want to give her something
since I was not able to give her anything last mother’s day <I cook waffles
that night though>.

 With regards
with the financial thing thing, I can only afford maybe 200 to 300. I am just a
student for heaven’s sake.

    Well, after scouting
so many stores for the “perfect” gift, I came up with the idea to paint one her
photos during her younger days. And I even found a very good deal. I met
someone from my department who can paint using charcoal. And he is very good. He
will just charge me with 200 pesos and he can finish it in a day or two.

    I am
thinking of buying a wooden frame where I don’t have any idea how much though I
hope I can find a cheaper one.

    I will post
the picture of the painting next week probably including dome of the pics that
will be taken on the birthday itself.

        This day was
really busy and tiring. I was working on my enrollment from 8 in the morning
till 5 PM. I got home by 7 since our place it at hour or so away from the city.

        I am happy
coz my enrollment is done. I still have to add 10 more units to make my 16 units
26. But my 16 units is already hectic coz I have 12 hours laboratory. That
means that I wont have much time blogging and working on my request thread in Frindstertalk.

        I also have my
id now. I am not that pretty coz I was really tired and my feet soar when i
took the photo. And I was alone with 20 more people so was not able to talk to anybody.
So dyahe if smile ka don wala ka naman kakilala.

        But over
all, I am so happy that I am back at school. After being hiatus for 7 months, I
think I can’t take anymore months of sleeping. I have to do something. I need
to go back to school and do something worthy with my life.

        The only
good thing that happened to me during my enrollment was the very nice cashier. When
its time to pay for my down payment, I jokingly ask her if I can pay 1, 000
instead of 1,500. She was very nice that she said yes. I was very overwhelmed
that I would like to dedicate this paragraph to her.

        Just to let
you know, I returned the 500 to my mama.

          I really have to do something with my weight. I mean seriously, can be bigger than the picture that I have seen here in the internet.? 3-4 eggs with hamburger, beans, 3-4 cheese and meat tortillas, bread, or pasta, fizzy drinks, coffee, milk

Diet Now

Breakfast

Six eggs without the yolk fried in extra virgin olive oil, onion and tomato, one apple, one grapefruit

Lunch

Grilled Chicken, grapefruit, apple, sugar-free lemonade, salad, sugar-free jelly, water

Dinner

Peppers stuffed with mince, one apple, grapefruit, salad, water.

Snacks

2 1/2 bars of diet chocolate, water

mother day, or should I say mothers night.

 It is a bit raining here
in Bukidnon so we decided to make Waffles. We have our own recipe but we
decided to make something new. I research the internet and found this recipe in
the internet.

 Ingredients
    2/3 cup shortening
    1 cup granulated sugar
    4 eggs, separated
    1/4 cup milk
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 1/4 tablespoons Baking Powder
    Instructions

        Preheat waffle iron. Cream shortening and         sugar until light, add well-beaten
egg yokls, milk, and vanilla. Sift together flour, salt, and Baking Powder. Add to liquid batter and gently fold in stiffly beaten egg
whites.

Cook according to your waffle
e iron instructions.   

The result is so good. Its
tastier and fluffier. I recommend that you try these one and follow the instruction carefully. Especially in the white egg part. Make sure that beat
well coz that’s the one that makes your waffle fluffy.

  Remember that
cousin that I was talking about? The one that annoy me so much? Well now, he
doesn’t annoy me anymore. But don’t go thinking that I like him. Coz now, he is
getting into my nerves.

    I don’t want to say anything harsh to him because he doesn’t
have anybody here to protect, help or understand him. I don’t want him to think
that we are discriminating him. And we honestly don’t. Yes, I pity him. But why
does he even do such things?
You don’t have to be demure or educated or be a high achiever to know what good
attitude is and what is not. To know that doing so would annoy the people
around you or would make them hate you. Now don’t go thinking that I am over
reacting coz I am not. Even my brothers and our neighbors are starting to hate
him too. And I don’t like that coz he is my cousin for heaven sake.

 I know what you are thinking. So let me tell you what he
does that annoys me and my other siblings.

When we are watching
telly, he keeps on changing the channel during the advertisement part. And when
my brother would ask him to return it on the channel that we are watching we
already missed part of the show.

I was looking for your
jacket coz it’s raining and I felt cold but then I can’t find it in my cabinet.
And was pretty sure that it was there coz it my thing and I know where I put my
things. But I saw him he was wearing it already. WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. And after
he wore it he will just leave it lying everywhere. Now who would like that?

All our life, my mum taught
us how to be thrifty.  How to value
money. How to be contented with what you have and never be jealous of what others
have. Especially inside the house. Our mama taught us how to save energy and
water. So the money that we should be paying for our water and current will go
to other more important things. And we always caught him washing two piece shirts
in a basin full of water. And whenever he would go to the bathroom he would
open the lights from the washing room, dining room and the bath room itself. And
after doing his business from the comfort room he would just leave them open.

And they are thief too. We
are loosing our things little by little. I lost my jewelry box and I found it
under their clothes. My brother lost his 1100 nokia phone. It’s not much but he
has the cell phone for a long time and they have this connection already.

And one of our boarders
<we own a two storey boarding house> lost her necklace and picture and
their suspect was my cousin. Now who want to live in a boarding house that has thieves?

And when we watch telly? They
are like teachers who would explain to us what they are saying. Who would
interpret what they are doing. Me and my sibling are well educated and can
understand English so it really annoys us.

And take note, they seldom
help us with our chores.

I wish vacation would be
over and they will go back to Cotabato. I was trying not to say anything that
will hurt them I want them to have a good vacation with us but how can we be
friends with them if they are not using their common sense?  

I wish I can find a way to
let them know what we feel when they do such things so that they will be liked
by us and the rest of our neighbors. To tell them how we feel with out hurting
them.

    Yeah, i was like reading for the last few
years or was like forever??
i don’t get to own all the books that i read but i  certainly have a few.
i love reading, it helps a lot specially if i am bored. before,i really sucked
in spelling but when i started reading my spelling improves a lot. i also get
to learn new words. and of course through reading i can relate to other
problems around me..

Michael Crichton was just one of the authors that I adore so much. I like him so much coz he is one of the authors who can make me crazy. Whenever I can purchase a book of him I don’t stop on reading. I bring the book even if I am doing my business in the comfort room. I read the book under my school books during class hours. I am an addict Michael Crichton fan.

Well, I don’t get to buy new Michael Crichton books coz that would be around three to ten dollars. Instead I bought them at books sale where I can avail them at two dollars or one hundred peso here in the Philippines. . It really doesn’t bother me that I get old books coz they have the same content or what so ever. Though I would certainly love to own a book that is new. I have only tried it once; I bought a book of Dan Brown, the da Vinci code.

I have four books of Crichton and I am currently reading The Lost World. I am looking forward for The Andromeda Strain.
